the sources that I used are inserted in a bibliography in the correct format for the APA style.
when I'm ready to make my reference list, I simply type in my references and then click Zotero Insert Bibliography.
I come up to my citations, go to my clasic view, choose the source, and if I click "Suppress Author" and click OK, then it simply inserts the date that I need., because I've already mentioned the author's name in the sentence. Now in this citation, in the sentence I mentioned the name of the author, but I still want to put in the citation. You can see that the citations are inserted in the correct order and in the correct format for the APA style. Now, click on the sources and arrow them over into the window, and I come down and click OK. Now, if I want to insert multiple authors' citations, for example if this idea came from more than one source, I click on my insert citation my classic view and I come down to the bottom of the window where it says multiple sources. And you can see the citation is placed into my document in the correct format. If I want to use this reference as my citation, I click on that and I can simply come down, I can click in the page or other information, but for the APA style I can simply come down and click OK. when I open the classic view, this opens a window that shows me all of the Zotero references that I've saved during my research. You don't need to change any other information on this window. I want you to use the American Psychological Association 6th Edition. Click that and you'll be asked to choose the type of reference style. In Finder, press Cmd-Shift-G and navigate to /Applications/Zotero.app/Contents/Resources/extensions//install where you can find a copy of the Zotero.dotm file. On the far left side there's a button that says Zotero Insert Citation. Go up to the ribbon, and in the "Add-Ins" tab you'll see as a Zotero custom toolbar. In your document if there's a place where you want to insert a reference go to that spot. you don't have to have Zotero open for Zotero to work, but you do need to have the Firefox web browser open. With Microsoft Word open, make sure that you also have the Firefox web browser open.
